I am a multimedia journalist in Austin, Texas, covering the legal industry for Texas Lawyer newspaper. I report and write articles, shoot photos and produce online videos. I cover lawsuits in Travis County involving lawyers or firms, the 3rd and 4th Courts of Appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, State Bar of Texas, Texas Legislature, and more.

My professional journalism experience since 2006 has taught me to meet tight deadlines and work quickly and accurately, no matter if I’m writing, shooting photos or producing videos. I have worked for major Texas newspapers, worldwide wire services, TV news stations and online publications. I live in Austin (my hometown) with my husband, Aaron Morris, and our dog, Binx. I enjoy walking Binx around the Lake Austin trail, riding my bike around town and hiking Austin’s greenbelt. I dabble in a variety of crafts like sewing and knitting. I used to be known as Angela Grant.
